If you've already started capturing birthday sign-ups with the Happy Birthday app and then decide enable our Brevo integration, we don't automatically push those existing customers through to your Brevo account.
This is just in case you are testing things out or select the wrong Brevo list to begin with.
We can, however, run a sync to push those contacts over to your Brevo account once you have enabled the integration in Happy Birthday.
If you'd like us to run this sync for you, then please do get in touch and we'll get it scheduled in for you.
How does it work?
When we push each contact from Happy Birthday into Brevo, we will also generate each contact's unique Birthday Discount Link.
We'll push each contact into Brevo along with the contact's email address, first and last name (if you have collected that data).
If the contact already exists in Brevo, then we will append only the missing data to the contact, e.g. their birthday and the Birthday Discount Link.
The Birthday Discount Link is the contact attribute which you will then merge into your Brevo email template for use in your birthday email campaign.
