Happy Birthday pricing is based on the total number of Birthday Club members you have at any given time. Every sign-up counts toward that total, no matter which channel they came from.

What counts toward my plan limit?
All sign-ups to your Birthday Club count, regardless of how they came in:

Billing
Happy Birthday is billed through Shopify's standard app billing. It will appear as a line item within your Monthly Shopify bill under Details → App.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Before you exceed your current plan, we'll send you a heads-up email to your store's admin email address. If you don't upgrade, we'll send a follow-up. If you exceed your current plan, we'll send one final notification.
At that point, new sign-ups to your Birthday Club will stop being collected. The following channels pause:
Happy Birthday app block for themes
Checkout App Block
Birthday sign-up page
Shopify POS UI Extension
CSV imports and manual additions
Integrations and custom webhooks
Please note:
Existing birthday club members will continue to receive their birthday emails. Only new sign-ups are paused when you have exceeded your current plan.
