This article applies to merchants using the Happy Birthday integration with Privy.
When a visitor submits their email and birthdate through your Privy popup, three things happen:
The visitor is added to Privy as a contact (or their birthdate is appended if they already exist as a contact in Privy).
Their email and birthdate are pushed through to the Happy Birthday app.
Happy Birthday schedules a birthday email based on your campaign send schedule.

How do I see which subscribers signed up via Privy?
Open the Happy Birthday app and select Members from the app navigation on the left-hand side of your Shopify Admin.
The Sign up channel column shows where each member came from. Privy sign-ups will be listed as Privy within this column:
