Yes. You are able to both preview and send a test birthday email within the Happy Birthday campaign editor.
Please note:
The preview and test email will only contain test data related to the discount code and discount expiry date, so please ignore it. The real Birthday email will contain the correct discount code and expiry information.
Previewing the emails
The middle pane of the Campaign Editor is where you will preview your Birthday Email and Follow-up Email. The preview pane will update as you make changes to your campaign settings:
Sending a test email
Go into the Campaign Editor, either by selecting Edit your campaign or by selecting Configure birthday email from the Your campaign overview screen.
Within both the Birthday email and Follow-up email settings editor, there is a Send a test feature:
Clicking the Send a test button will open up a modal window that will allow you to specify the email address you wish to send the test birthday email to:
If you have personalised your birthday email using our optional merge fields, then enter a First Name and Last Name to test out how the personalisation will look in the birthday email.
Hit the Send button and the email should be with you shortly!
