Once you've enabled birthday capture, you'll want to confirm it's actually appearing for customers. How you check depends on which capture method you're using.
Checking the Happy Birthday app block (recommended path)
If you've added the Happy Birthday app block to your Thank You Page or Order Status Page via the Shopify checkout editor, you can verify it two ways.
Preview in the checkout editor
Go to Settings → Checkout in your Shopify admin.
Find the post-purchase page you've set up (e.g. Thank You) and click Customise.
The right-hand panel shows a live preview exactly as a customer will see it. The Happy Birthday app block should be visible inline with the order confirmation.
View a real order
Go to Shopify admin → Orders.
Click any recent order.
Click More actions → View order status page.
The Happy Birthday app block should be displayed. Note: if the customer on that order has already joined your Birthday Club, the form won't appear, try a different order.
Checking the Birthday Sign-up Page
Open https://{your-store}/apps/birthday in a browser. The Birthday Sign-up Page should load with the title, introduction text, and date fields you configured under Happy Birthday → Advanced → Birthday Sign-up Page.
Form not appearing?
Some Shopify themes and apps can interfere with birthday capture. If the form is missing across all your test orders, please get in touch and we'll take a look.
