Discounts created by Happy Birthday can be set to combine with other discount types. Shipping discounts, Product discounts and Order discounts are all valid combinations that can be enabled within the Happy Birthday apps discount settings.
This guide shows the simple steps required to enable discount combinations.
Enabling discount combinations
Go to Happy Birthday > Your campaign then click on Edit your campaign:
This will open the General Settings on the next page. Click into the Discounts section where you will find the discount combinations available at the bottom:
Each discount combination can be individually enabled / disabled:
Please Note:
The Automatically generate a single use code setting will need to be enabled to set discount combinations within Happy Birthday app.
If you are using a fixed code created in Shopify, then you can manage the discount combinations via the settings for that discount code within your Shopify admin.
Once you have saved your discount code combinations, your automatically generated Happy Birthday discounts will report whichever combinations they were saved with. You can check these within the Discounts section of your Shopify admin:
Please Note:
By default, the feature will have all discount combination options turned off, so you will need to turn them on in your discount code settings within the Happy Birthday App
